
A cool summer treat with a chocolatey twist
Ingredients (makes about 12 bites):
- 3 bars dark chocolate (about 90 g)
- 100 g (¾ cup) mixed berries (e.g., blueberries, raspberries, chopped strawberries)
- 2 tbsp coconut or plain yogurt
- 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (for extra shine)
- Silicone or paper muffin cups
Instructions:
Melt the chocolate: Break the chocolate into pieces and melt with coconut oil over a double boiler or in the microwave.
Base layer: Spoon a little melted chocolate into the muffin cups. Freeze briefly to harden.
Mix the filling: Combine the berries with yogurt and honey.
Layer up: Add the berry mix, then top with more melted chocolate.
Freeze: Freeze for at least 2 hours. Enjoy straight from the freezer!
